When leather is exposed to sunlight, humidity, grease and touches it will develop a patina. Especially the lighter leather is susceptible to these factors, and will relatively fast develop a nice patina, especially when it's exposed to sunlight. The other colours doesn't develop a patina to the same extent, as the leather is dyed which makes it less susceptible to the previously mentioned factors.
