To ensure that your new leather belt fits exactly as it should, we recommend that you measure a belt you already use. At byRavn, the belt size corresponds to your actual waist measurement – not the belt's full length.
How to measure your current belt
Get out your favourite belt.
Measure the distance from the "favourite hole" (the hole you use most) all the way to the end of the belt, including the buckle.
The number of centimetres you measure is your belt size.
Example: If you measure 95 cm from the favourite hole to the end of the belt (including the buckle), you should choose size 95 cm.
Are you between two sizes?
If your measurement falls between two of our sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size.
Example: If you measure 92 cm, we recommend choosing size 90 cm.
Why choose the smaller one? We work with genuine full-grain leather, and since it is a natural material, the belt will stretch slightly over time and mould to your body.
If you don't have a belt to measure, you can instead measure your waist circumference with a tape measure (take the measurement where the belt will sit – e.g., through the belt loops of your jeans). This measurement also corresponds to the size you should order.
